My exhibit at the Bentonville Convention and Visitors' Bureau (Between Table Mesa and T. H. Benton Coffee on the square) is hung and ready to view! All of these works were painted this year (2012), and cross a variety of styles. I enjoyed each one for different reasons. Most of the paintings reflect life in Bentonville. A couple are related to Crystal Bridges (Rothko Arrives, Reflections 1), and several are of Bentonville historic homes or landmarks. Some just came out of the vast amount of empty space in my brain.
There will be an artist's reception on Friday, November 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. It's First Friday, as well, so come and enjoy a fun evening on the square, and drop by the Bureau to have a cup of cider and say hello.
A portion of all sales will be donated to the Saving Grace ministry in Rogers.
